Netherlands vs Luxembourg flag

These similar flags stack red, white, and blue horizontally. The tell is the blue: navy and shorter for the Netherlands; pale and longer for Luxembourg.

People remember “Dutch flag” as red-white-blue and then click Luxembourg because the bands match. Luxembourg uses a lighter blue and a longer ratio. The Netherlands uses a darker cobalt and a more compact cloth. Ask whether the blue looks sky or navy. That question survives a small PNG.

Russia is white-blue-red, a different stack. France is vertical. Do not drag those into this pair until you can split Netherlands from Luxembourg cold. Flag Drill will still offer them as distractors in a four-choice round. That is the point of the gym.

Practice notes

Flag Drill is a timed four-choice gym, not a picture book. Twenty seconds is enough to check one detail and not enough to recite a textbook. If you miss Luxembourg’s pale blue, re-read sky versus navy, then start another round. Scores and streaks stay in this browser. There is no account and no cloud ranking.

Similar flags pages exist so the whole site can point at one cluster. The hub lists every pair. Each child URL is for a single collision people actually search or miss. Internal links go back to the hub and sideways to the next pair, then into the flag quiz and the country flag quiz. That is the whole internal-link plan for this cluster.
